What is Netra?
Netra (NetraLite) is temple management software for temples and religious trusts. It records puja, seva, donation and darshan-ticket bookings at the counter, on a phone, on the temple website and at self-service kiosks. Every booking produces a numbered, immutable receipt with a QR code that can be verified at the gate or the prasad counter. Netra runs in the browser at netralite.swadharmasetu.com and is built by 3ioNetra in Mumbai.

One ledger, four counters
Everything a temple counter does — without the receipt book
Netra replaces the receipt book, the seva register and the end-of-day tally sheet. Each tab below is a real part of the product.
Puja, donation and darshan ticket on one screen
The counter screen has three lanes — puja/seva, donation and darshan ticket — so an operator can take a family’s whole visit in one receipt. It was designed to feel calm and obvious to operators over 50.
- Cash, cheque (with 6-digit check), NEFT, recorded UPI or pay later
- Payment links and POS card machines (Razorpay, Paytm, Worldline) are rolling out
- Token numbers, daily limits per channel and booking cut-off times
- Each counter operator sees only their own counter’s collections

- Import your existing devotee list from Excel or CSV

Everything a devotee can do without reaching the counter
The website and the kiosk are modules of Netra, so online and kiosk receipts follow the same numbering rules as the counter. Each tab is a real part of the product.
Your temple’s own booking site, with news and contact
Every temple gets a website at its own address with tabs for News & updates, Puja, Donation, Ticket, About and Contact. Devotees choose an offering, verify their mobile number with an OTP, review the total and pay through your gateway. Contact-form messages arrive in your Netra panel.
- Five design templates — Heritage temple, Grand temple, Devi shrine, Trust and seva, Association — with your logo, colours and banner

A page for every deity and utsav, one tap from booking
Give a deity or an utsav (temple festival) a title, a description and an image, and Netra publishes a landing page for it. The “Proceed to booking” button opens the Puja tab with that deity’s pujas already selected — a link you can share on WhatsApp or print on a festival poster.
- Formatted description and image written in the temple office
- “All” option lists every puja across deities
- Shareable link that stays stable when you rename the utsav

An app for devotees, without an app store
Devotees sign in to your website with a one-time password on their mobile number and see their past bookings and receipts, book again and share temple pages. They can add the website to their phone’s home screen with your temple’s name and logo, so it opens like an app.
- OTP sign-in — no passwords for devotees to remember
- Saved details are shown only after the mobile number is verified
- Receipt QR on the phone for the gate or prasad (blessed food) counter

Monthly auto-debit donations through Razorpay or Cashfree
A devotee can pledge a fixed amount every month for a set number of months. The mandate is created on the gateway’s own consent page, and each month’s successful debit issues its own numbered receipt. Recurring donations run on Razorpay or Cashfree subscriptions; the other gateways take one-time payments.
- Explicit consent with the amount, the dates and the number of collections
- Failed or cancelled debits never produce a paid receipt
- Missed gateway callbacks are recovered automatically
Set up a monthly donation
- Fund Annadanam
- Amount each month ₹1,100
- Collections 12 months

Each month’s debit issues its own numbered receipt.
A self-service counter that never closes for lunch
Put a touch screen in the temple and devotees can book a puja, give a donation or buy a darshan ticket on their own. They scan a QR code to pay by UPI on their phone, and the kiosk prints the receipt on its thermal printer automatically.
- Three booking flows and five visual themes, set per kiosk
- Idle screen with your own image or video
- Kiosk-wise collection report, separate from the counters

Self-service kiosk
The temple donation kiosk, in detail
A kiosk is a tablet or touch screen with a receipt printer. Each one has its own paired address, settings and collection report, and costs ₹999 a month per device.
Paired kiosk URL
Each kiosk has its own address. Open it once on the device and it stays paired through refreshes and restarts until an administrator logs it out or rotates its key.
Three booking flows
Choose the module first, the devotee’s details first, or the offering first. A kiosk with one module skips the extra step.
Five themes
Heritage, Lotus, Midnight, Forest or Minimal, each with your temple name, colours, logo, welcome message and background.
Idle image or video
After a timeout you set — from one second to 30 minutes — the kiosk shows your full-screen image or a muted looping video, with booking buttons still visible.
Automatic thermal printing
The receipt prints on the connected ESC/POS thermal printer as soon as payment succeeds. Reprints are controlled from the counter.
Android full-screen mode
Install the kiosk on an Android device and it opens full screen, without browser bars, and keeps the screen awake.
UPI on the devotee’s phone
The kiosk shows a QR code; the devotee pays through your gateway on their own phone, and the kiosk prints once payment is confirmed.
Card machine at the kiosk
Taking card and UPI payments through a Razorpay, Paytm or Worldline POS machine attached to the kiosk.
Clears itself after every devotee
Completed, cancelled or abandoned sessions clear personal details, and a countdown returns the kiosk to its first screen.

Can devotees donate by UPI on our website?
Yes. The website sends devotees to your payment gateway’s secure checkout, where they can pay by UPI or any other method your gateway account has switched on. A receipt is issued only after the gateway confirms the payment, never on the browser’s word.
Do we need our own payment gateway account?
Today, yes — you connect your temple’s own account with Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Paytm, Worldline or Decentro, and the money settles to your bank. Your keys are stored encrypted. A platform gateway that pays each temple through split settlement (Razorpay Route or Cashfree Easy Split) is rolling out. Our guide to starting online donations covers the paperwork.
What is a temple donation kiosk?
A temple donation kiosk is a touch screen in the temple where devotees book a puja, donate or buy a darshan ticket themselves, pay by UPI and collect a printed receipt. Netra’s kiosk runs in the browser on an Android tablet or touch screen with a thermal receipt printer, at ₹999 a month per device.
What is temple management software?
Temple management software replaces receipt books, seva registers and end-of-day tally sheets with one system. Netra records puja, seva, donation and darshan-ticket bookings, prints numbered receipts, keeps a devotee register and reconciles what was collected with what reached the bank.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Netra has a three-month free trial with no card required. Start the trial and set up your sevas yourself, or book a demo and our team will help.
Does Netra issue 80G receipts?
Netra prints your trust’s 80G registration number and wording on every receipt, and keeps PAN where the donor gives it. It does not file the statement of donations (Form 10BD, now Form 113 under the Income-tax Act, 2025) or generate donor certificates (Form 10BE, now Form 114). Our 80G guide explains what the trust still has to file.
Can Netra work with Tally?
Yes. Tally Manager maps Netra’s accounts to your Tally ledgers and exports Tally XML vouchers. Read temple accounting in Netra for the details.
Which languages does Netra support?
English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Gujarati. Each operator can work in their own language.
Does Netra handle hundi counting?
No — Netra records receipted collections. For hundi counting, use our free hundi counting sheet and procedure.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Netra runs in a browser on any computer, tablet or phone. It prints on A4/A5/A6 printers or 58/80 mm thermal printers, and support for Razorpay, Paytm and Worldline POS card machines is rolling out.
